Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, aka Davido, wedded his wife, Chioma, in Miami, United States of America, on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at The Havana in Miami.
Before the main ceremony, a pre-wedding dinner was hosted in honour of the couple, with close family members and friends in attendance. The event had the couple all lovey-dovey over each other, and a video online showed their enthusiasm for one another.
In a video of the party on Friday night, Davido was dressed in a multicoloured outfit, while Chioma appeared in a white gown. Some highlights at the event included familiar faces such as his colleagues— Adekunle Gold, Teni; and popular blogger, Tunde Ednut.
Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has also been seen at the wedding festivities. A video shared by Davido on his Instagram page on Saturday showed the billionaire industrialist at the event, mingling with guests. The clip has since generated wide reactions on social media, with many praising the presence of the business mogul at the high-profile celebration.
The Miami gathering was part of the couple’s wedding activities, which began earlier in the week with a pre-wedding party attended by several Nigerian entertainers, including Teniola Apata, Adekunle Gold and Zlatan Ibile.
Davido and Chioma, who legally married in March 2023, welcomed twins in the United States in October of the same year and held their traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024.
The latest celebrations have continued to draw attention online, with Dangote’s appearance adding to the star-studded nature of the occasion.
