There are three incidents that brought to the fore the dangers of unruly passengers in air travel in Nigeria. The Senator Adam Oshiomhole incident with Air Peace in June 2025, the Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, known as Kwam 1 incident with Valujet and Ibom Air incident with Comfort Emmanson in August 2025.
In terms of safety breach, the most dangerous was that of Valujet verses Kwam 1, where the aircraft would have crushed the Fuji musician. Senator Oshiomhole became a sensational story because of his personality as former governor and now a senator, a rabble rouser and very loquacious. But the incident that set Nigeria on fire was that of Ibom Air verses Comfort Emmanson. She is a beautiful, fair complexion girl with flawless skin colour. During fisticuffs, she was violently forced out of the aircraft (an action many Nigerians condemned) and her breasts popped out!
It is necessary to give little detail about this incident. Comfort wore a flimsy top that was very flexible without brassieres from Uyo to Lagos; with large sized breasts that are bigger than mid-size African paw-paw fruits. In the cacophony due to her unwillingness to cooperate, she was forced out of the aircraft on arrival in Lagos and into a vehicle by airport security. During this process, her breasts popped out of the flimsy top. She had earlier removed the short jacket she wore on top of the flexible top and without brassieres, those rambunctious breasts swayed heavily up and down in seconds before she precariously hid them in the almost torn top.
Those breasts exposed to the public in a video set social media on fire and a hurricane in the head of many men who now began to literally think and talk with their penis; rather than their head. Some said the breasts were stainless without stretch marks despite their voluptuous size. They concluded that her skin was impeccable, just as her luscious breasts were irresistible.
What happened gave credence to one of the jokes of Okey Bakkasi, who once said that men have two brains. The brain in their head and another in their penis; that when the brain in the head is active the one in their shaft shuts down. But when that of the shaft awakens, the brain in the head shuts down.
Okey Bakassi gave example with a man who may be attending a burial ceremony of a man. If during the interment and the wife in her lamentation throws her legs in the air in grief and her inner thighs are exposed, the brain in the penis will wake up. It will draw the man’s attention. Like, “did you see her thighs”. The brain in the head will warn, “this is a burial; keep calm.”
The brain in the shaft will ask, “Are you the one that killed him?”
Led by the brain in the penis, the man may go to the woman and say, “sorry for the death of your husband. Please manage this one million naira and this is my card; anytime you want, you can call me.”
This could be akin to the sensation that happened with the Emmanson incident. Men started making promises to her. Some promised her millions of naira, some promised her round trip to Dubai, USA, a job, modelling, acting etc. All the people who made these promises were men and taking a cue from Okey Bakassi anecdote, they might all have made the promises thinking with their penis.
But other photographs and videos of Emmanson began to come out from various corners to the social media. Her posts on Instagram and Facebook sent some messages. In almost all the photos and videos, she was skimpily clad, suggesting that she is a woman of easy virtue. She flaunted the mannerisms of the women who advertise themselves on social media for men in the now popular hook-up jobs. But this is mere presumption but strongly looks so. Some of the videos exposed her under pants; flimsy bra that barely covered a quarter of her breasts and she danced invitingly to potential customers, looking askance as if she were asking, “Look all the things I have, won’t you want to come and a have a taste?”
Some observers have argued that those breasts so exposed might have temporarily taken some Nigerian men away from erectile dysfunction, as there were indications that some men might have watched them over 1000 times with a staggering feeling between their legs.
But the Emmanson incident exposed one more thing. That Nigerians glorify trivial things and that the value system has tanked. The question is this, if Emmanson had discovered supplements to suppress sickle cell anaemia, would she have gathered this kind of attention? It goes to show that Nigeria’s value system is jaundiced. The majority of the populace lacked character and celebrate immorality.
